Travel as a lifestyle

I worked as a freelancer for years, doing performance-based online marketing. This allowed me to have an office anywhere there was a bit of internet. In any country. Now I’ve stopped doing client work and I’m just doing my own projects. I’m even less location-bound.

And so I take advantage of that too – traveling and working while I do it. During the day or evening work, in my free time and on weekends exploring the area. I don’t need a coworking space, I just need a beach bar, a coffee shop or a rest stop on the highway.

I always love to taste local cuisine, so I write about local specialties and usually recommend places to eat or have a good coffee.

I don’t travel completely slowly, I’m not a digital nomad in the true sense of the word. I move around a lot and I come home a lot. There are only a few places where I have stayed in one place (apartment) for more than a month: Valencia, Alicante, Málaga, Las Palmas. Not coincidentally all in Spain, it’s my love.

But I always end up looking forward to going back home anyway …

I can speak Czech, English and Spanish. I don’t miss the opportunity to take a boat ride, on land I’m a fan of roadtrips. I prefer to travel without a plan, but I usually have a list of lots of cafes and local markets to go to. To do this, I look for the best viewpoint in the place and any sights will have sort of met along the way. My element is water anyway.

I have my life organized in Notion, I love paper, whether it’s reading or writing. I have a Mindmap for just about everything. My hobby is finance, especially passive income issues and building a dividend portfolio. I bake. I host brunches. I swim. I grow cacti. I read romance. I nurture my health. I’m a homeexchange. I’m an analyst, an overthinker, an introvert, an optimist, and the queen of checklists.
